We are Sarah Melgen, Adam Graiser and Jesse Mejia, three students at georgia tech working on a project to redesign a hair salon station with inclusive design properties.

This is where we report our progress and record any successes and fails we may have, plus a few laughs along the way.

begin on monday. end on monday. that’s how it’s gonna be. we WILL finish today.

To-do list:

  1. finish backing of chair.
  2. apply cushion and vinyl to seat, back and arms of chair.
  3. attach seat to chair frame
  4. fix closet unit inside mirror (walls, hooks, shelf, etc.)
  5. fill holes and gashes of mirror and cart
  6. paint sides of mirror and cart
  7. cover open fillets with laminent
  8. put in shelves through the mirror
  9. put everything on stage
  10. walk away
